LATE FOR CRUISE CONTROL?
In
2005, the world's friskiest scientologist--seen above chatting up
Oprah--was still top gun at the box office (a triumph he may not
repeat in 2006, judging by the weak opening of "Mission: Impossible
III"). Quigley Publishing Company has been conducting these
polls of theater exhibitors since 1932, handing out the Number One
award five times each to Tom Hanks, Clint Eastwood, Burt Reynolds
and Bing Crosby, and seven times to Cruise. Below, the Top 10 of
2005. And isn’t it perfect that Brad & Angie tied for
third place, one whole notch above Vince Vaughn? But, hey, where’s
Jen?
